Her story

Built from conviction, not just credentials

Life After Arrival was not a business plan. It was a response to something Funmi kept seeing: people who had done the hard, courageous work of arriving somewhere new, and yet were still navigating their finances and their futures entirely alone.

For Funmi, the journey began with a question that would not leave her: why were so many people who had done the extraordinary thing of relocating, rebuilding, and pressing forward still financially stuck, spiritually confused about money, or simply too overwhelmed to plan beyond the next month?

She had seen both extremes. The prosperity gospel that promised abundance without responsibility. The poverty mindset that spiritualised lack. Neither told the truth about what the Bible actually says about money. Through prayer, study, and years of practical work as a certified financial adviser, she arrived at something different: a conviction that God's design for our finances is ordered, purposeful, and built for generational impact. Not excess. Not scarcity. Stewardship.

That conviction became a framework. That framework became a platform. And what began as a resource for relocated professionals in the UK widened, because Funmi realised that the threshold moments she was serving were not only geographic. They were spiritual, practical, and seasonal. Anyone who had crossed into a new chapter and needed both faith and financial wisdom to build well in it belonged here.

What she built in response is a platform that refuses to separate the practical from the purposeful. Financial clarity and business capability, held together inside a framework that takes stewardship seriously. Not as a spiritual add-on, but as the very foundation of how decisions get made.

She is a certified financial adviser. She is an educator. She is a builder. And she believes, with both her training and her faith, that the people who have crossed the hardest thresholds deserve the best tools available for what comes next.

"You're not behind in timing. You're just in your becoming."
What Funmi discovered

Through prayer, study, and practical testing, Funmi discovered that biblical design for our finances is far more beautiful than either the prosperity gospel's excess or the poverty mindset's limitations. Biblical Financial Fitness is where scriptural wisdom guides wealth-building, where faith meets finance, and where God's Word provides the principles for lasting, generational stewardship.

Defining arrival

Arrival is not just about changing postcodes

Life After Arrival is about recognising that your arrival, wherever and however it happened, was just the beginning of the story being written through your life. These are the arrivals Funmi built this platform for.

"Life After Arrival is about everything that comes after these breakthrough moments, when you know you have been moved from one season to another."

Funmi Akande, About Page

I
Geographic arrival

You have relocated to the UK. The systems, the culture, the financial structures — all unfamiliar. You have done the hard work of getting here. Now you need someone who can help you build properly within it.

III
Practical arrival

You have arrived at a place of readiness. Ready to learn, to implement, to take your finances and your business seriously. The delay is behind you. This is the moment you begin to build.

IV
Seasonal arrival

A new chapter is opening. Post-redundancy, post-divorce, post-promotion, post-calling. You have crossed a threshold into something new and you need both faith and practical wisdom to build well in it.

The framework

Biblical Financial
Fitness

Funmi's approach has a name: Biblical Financial Fitness. It is the framework that sits underneath everything Life After Arrival teaches. Scripture as the guide. Stewardship as the strength. Practical wisdom as the application.

It is not a prosperity gospel. It is not a poverty mindset. It is the conviction that God's design for money is ordered, generous, and built to outlast a single lifetime.

S
See clearly

Seeing the truth about where you are financially, spiritually, and practically. No shame, no denial. Just an honest starting point.

How Funmi works

Structured. Purposeful.
Grounded.

01
Start with honesty

Every journey begins with an honest look at where you actually are — not where you wish you were. The Money Map is that starting point. No shame, no glossing over. Just truth, with a clear path forward from it.

02
Education before implementation

Funmi believes you cannot implement what you do not understand. Every programme is built to give you genuine comprehension of the UK financial system, not just a set of instructions to follow blindly.

03
Community as accountability

The journeys she walks people through are hard. Isolation makes them harder. Whether through group coaching, events, or community spaces, Funmi builds environments where people are known, not just enrolled.

Let's write the next
chapter together.

With Scripture as our guide and stewardship as our strength. You are not behind in timing. You are just in your becoming.
